We would like to check with the community to find out where the best place area to have the first Maine Gamers LAN Party would be. Don’t worry, if you’re area isn’t first the next one will be it.
The LAN will be ~24h for Computers and Console (BYOTV). Game play will be casual unless there is someone who is interested in running a tournament and procuring sponsorship. All other details are up to the date and venue.
Once a area is decided on we will start looking for a location that offers ample space, power and internet. Finally a Kick Starter campaign to secure the deposit on a location will be held.
Update: Looks like Portland won the poll. Look for some more updates in the near future about a location, timeframe and a Kickstarter project
does anyone have any more information on this? such as dates locations etc? im looking for call of duty sponsorship tournies
Unfortunately do to RL issues I haven’t been able to start the search for a location. I’m hoping that by the end April I should be able to start looking for a place and have an announcement sometime in May.
If you know of any good location we are open to any suggestions.
